Likewise, the Defenders must go to war with whoever Nakai declares against or is declared on. The level 'Crystal Lake' from Blood uses a similar forest technique, and it was used even earlier in Catacomb Armageddon in its 'The Dark Forest' level. Nakai is obligated to declare war on any faction that attacks his vassal. Dark Woods of the Serpent is one of the four levels released in the shareware episode. Your objective in this level is to find two keys and solve a tricky puzzle and finish off the Serpent God that escaped you in the ending of the shareware. This level is about mid-sized with both outdoors and indoor settings. Every few turns, Nakai should be initiating diplomacy to Demand Payment from them to supplement the vassal's tribute. Shadow Warrior Walkthroughs Rising Son - Level 5 Rising Son is the first level of the registered version. The Defenders will never spend their money or recruit armies of its own. Perform the rite that gives them a Blessed Spawning army so they can protect your income, but otherwise continue conquering and don't worry about doubling back to recapture a Defender's settlement. One should probably not care too much about the Defenders as they serve only to occupy settlements and provide temple buffs. How much you care about this as Nakai is up to you, the only way it affects your campaign is losing the income they provide and the temples that contribute to the Old One's Favour. However, if the enemies are a full stack of mid tier quality and above, their settlements will fall. The Ring of the Wild Hunt is a Mythic ring with the Swift trait which can be obtained through the Antiquities system. Korax, the middle brother, is slain by a hero in Hexen: Beyond Heretic (the player picks one of the three characters). DSparil, the youngest and weakest brother is slain by Corvus in Heretic. Frightful images of hunter and prey plague the wearers dreams, but the swiftness of Yffre is well worth the restless nights. The three Serpent Riders - DSparil, Korax, and Eidolon, are the primary antagonists of the Trilogy. They will be able to fight off most armies that aren't a full stack or of low quality troops. Hewn from ancient stone and banded with crude metals, this Wood Elf ring harkens back to a crueler time. The Defender's of the Great Plan receive a solid garrison for the settlements they control. Cold-Blooded Logic - The immutable, alien logic of the Lizardmen means they will only consider strong, emotive states when engaging in diplomacy. It controls and manages the settlements captured by the Spirit of the Jungle faction (the playable horde faction led by Nakai the Wanderer). Whatever Nakai captures Defenders of the Great Plan is a minor Lizardmen faction.
